List Volumes and Free Space with Get-Volume
One PowerShell line showing drive letters, labels, filesystems and free space for every volume.
01Command
$ Get-Volume | Sort-Object DriveLetter | Format-Table DriveLetter, FileSystemLabel, FileSystem, @{n='SizeGB';e={[math]::Round($_.Size/1GB,1)}}, @{n='FreeGB';e={[math]::Round($_.SizeRemaining/1GB,1)}} -AutoSize02What it does
Get-Volume queries the Storage cmdlet layer and returns objects, not the fixed text that fsutil or dir produce. Size and SizeRemaining are raw bytes, so dividing by 1GB inside a calculated property gives a human-readable table. It is the modern replacement for the old `wmic logicaldisk` trick and works in both PowerShell 5.1 and 7.
