View Scheduled Power Events with pmset -g sched
See every scheduled sleep, wake, shutdown, or power-on event — and cancel the ones you never asked for.
Run `pmset -g sched` to list scheduled power events, and `sudo pmset repeat cancel` to clear recurring ones.
01Command
Command
$ pmset -g sched02What it does
pmset -g sched prints one-shot events (scheduled by apps like the updater) and the recurring `repeat` schedule in a single view, which explains mystery 3 a.m. wake-ups. Sleep inhibitors live in `pmset -g assertions` — things like audio playback or a `caffeinate` process holding the machine awake. One-shot entries can be removed with `sudo pmset schedule cancel <type> <date>`.
03Risk
!Warning: Repeat schedules use the local timezone as displayed — changes after DST shifts can wake the Mac an hour off.
04Undo
Undo
$ sudo pmset repeat cancel05Sources
