List This Mac's Shared Services
See what your Mac is currently sharing with the network using the built-in sharing tool.
01Command
$ sharing -l02What it does
Sharing settings live across several System Settings panes, so it is easy to forget what is turned on. `sharing -l` prints the machine's shared services in one list — a quick security audit after setting up a new Mac or cleaning up an old one. If anything shows as shared that you do not recognise, turn it off in System Settings > General > Sharing.
