Take a Silent Screenshot to the Clipboard with screencapture
Use screencapture -c to copy a screenshot to the clipboard and -x to suppress the shutter sound — no desktop clutter, no sound.
Run `screencapture -x -c` to capture the whole screen silently to the clipboard, or add a file path to save a silent screenshot.

Command
$ screencapture -x -c02What it does
By default screencapture saves a file on the desktop and plays the camera shutter sound, which is disruptive in meetings or recordings. The -c flag routes the image to the clipboard so you can paste it directly into Mail, Slack, or Preview, and -x silences the capture. All the normal selections still apply: use -R x,y,w,h for a region or a window ID with -l. To avoid silent failures, check the clipboard with `osascript -e 'clipboard info'`.
