Quick Look a File from the Terminal with qlmanage -p
Open the same spacebar preview you use in Finder, but launched from the shell.
01Command
$ qlmanage -p ~/Desktop/report.pdf02What it does
qlmanage -p renders PDFs, images, documents, and any format that has a Quick Look plugin — the exact same view as pressing spacebar in Finder. Pass several paths at once to preview them together. Inside the window, arrow keys page through multiple files and q closes it. This is handy when you are already in the Terminal and just want to confirm a download worked.
