Show logged-on users on Windows with quser

List user sessions, sign-in times and idle time from the command line.

Run `quser` to list everyone logged on to this PC, with their session ID, sign-in time and idle time.

01Command

Command
$ quser

02What it does

quser displays every logon session — console (someone at the keyboard) and RDP sessions alike — including whether the session is Active or Disconnected. It is the quickest way to confirm that nobody else is using your PC, or to find a forgotten disconnected RDP session holding a license on a server. Each session's ID is what `logoff <id>` needs to end it.
