List Wake-Enabled Devices with powercfg /devicequery
Diagnose a PC that wakes itself from sleep by listing wake-armed devices and disabling the culprit.
01Command
$ powercfg /devicequery wake_armed
powercfg /devicedisablewake "HID-compliant mouse"02What it does
When a PC wakes at 3 AM for no reason, the usual suspects are a mouse twitch, a network adapter, or 'Allow wake timers'. /devicequery wake_armed lists exactly which devices currently hold wake permission, and powercfg /lastwake tells you which device caused the previous wake. /devicedisablewake and /deviceenablewake toggle individual devices without opening Device Manager; powercfg /waketimers lists scheduled wake timers separately.
