Generate a Battery Health Report with powercfg

Create an HTML report showing design vs. full-charge capacity and recent battery drain.

WindowspowercfgDiagnosticsbatteryLow risk
Run `powercfg /batteryreport` and open the generated HTML file to compare design capacity against current full-charge capacity.

01Command

Command
$ powercfg /batteryreport /output "%USERPROFILE%\Desktop\battery-report.html"

02What it does

The battery report records DESIGN CAPACITY and FULL CHARGE CAPACITY, so the ratio between them tells you how much of the battery's original capacity remains. It also plots capacity history and recent usage by day, which reveals abnormal overnight drain. It is read-only and safe to run at any time.
