List Installed Printer Drivers with Get-PrinterDriver

See every printer driver on the machine with manufacturer and version — the first step when a printer misbehaves.

Run `Get-PrinterDriver | Select-Object Name, Manufacturer, DriverVersion` in PowerShell to list all installed printer drivers.

02What it does

When a printer refuses to print or produces garbage output, an old or duplicated driver is the usual suspect. Print Management shows drivers in a GUI, but Get-PrinterDriver gives you the same list in seconds: the driver name, its manufacturer and the version number. This tells you whether a driver is missing entirely or simply outdated before you start removing printers.
