Check Bluetooth Devices and Battery Levels
One command lists every paired Bluetooth device, whether it is connected, and often its battery level.
01Command
$ system_profiler SPBluetoothDataType02What it does
When a mouse or headphones act up, the first question is whether macOS still sees them at all. This report separates 'Connected' from 'Not Connected' devices, shows each device's address, firmware version, and — for input devices and AirPods — battery percentages. It also shows the Bluetooth module's hardware settings at the top, useful when the radio itself seems broken. No pairing or unpairing happens here; it is a read-only snapshot, safe to run any time.
